Round Table India
A movement of 5,000 young men.
Round Table India (RTI) is a non-political and non-sectarian organisation of young men between the ages of 18 and 40, formed in 1962 with 100 founding members. It has since grown to some 5,000 Tablers across 300+ Tables in 140+ cities, with 3,960 projects delivered and over ₹500 crore invested — at zero administrative overhead.
Round Table India Trust is a public charitable trust registered under Section 12AA of the Income Tax Act with 80G approval issued by ITO, Chennai, and is registered with the Ministry of Home Affairs to receive foreign donations.
Through Freedom Through Education, running since 1998, Round Table India has built 10,040 classrooms, reaching over 11 million children.

Inaugurated
Nagpur Round Table 83 was inaugurated on 4 October 1986 and chartered on 7 March 1987.

Every member of NRT 83 has been a Life Member of the Foundation since 2016 — a commitment renewed with each induction.
Theme for the year
Build through Brotherhood
Addressing the Floor at the 40th AGM, incoming Chairman LMF Tr. Punan Choudhary unveiled “Build through Brotherhood” as the theme for Tabling Year 2026–27.
The year ahead puts its weight behind five things: fellowship, community service, fundraising, Freedom Through Education projects, and stronger participation from every member of the Table.

Our pledge
Zero overhead. Full stop.
Illiteracy has been a persistent challenge in India for decades. NRT 83's answer is unglamorous and specific: build the room, supply the water, the toilets and the books, and hand it over.
As a Zero Overhead Organisation, NRT 83 covers all administrative costs through its own members. 100% of donations go directly towards constructing school buildings and providing the facilities that go with them.
