LMF Nagpur Round Table 83 is a registered charitable trust in Nagpur. Since 2001 we have built schools for underprivileged children through Round Table India's flagship initiative — Freedom Through Education.
Who we are
A table of young men, one classroom at a time.
Nagpur Round Table 83 was inaugurated on 4 October 1986 and chartered on 7 March 1987. We are one of 300-plus Tables of Round Table India — a non-political, non-sectarian movement of young men between 18 and 40 who give their time, their networks and their money to eradicating illiteracy.
We are a Zero Overhead Organisation. Every rupee of administration is paid for by our own members, which means 100% of what a donor gives goes into the school building itself.

Three things we take seriously.
Freedom Through Education
Our flagship work. We fund, build and hand over classrooms, staff rooms, toilet blocks and libraries for government and trust-run schools around Nagpur.
Community service
Blood donation camps, nutrition kits, school-fee sponsorships, refurbished laptops, sports equipment and stationery — delivered directly, year round.
Fellowship & fundraising
From Comedy for a Cause to CSR partnerships, we raise what our projects need — and build the friendships that keep a 39-year-old Table going.
Most recently completed
Zilla Parishad School, Nagzari Village
Nagzari sits 12 km from Hingna town. Its Zilla Parishad school teaches 77 children from Grade 1 to Grade 8 with four teachers — and, until recently, had nowhere near enough room to do it in.
We demolished the unsafe old building and put up the first modern structure in the village — three furnished classrooms with separate washrooms for boys and girls, built for close to 200 children, with a play area — the first modern structure the village has had.

Individual donors, families and companies fund our school blocks. Contributions to Round Table No 83 Trust, which holds registration under Section 80G.
